Job purpose and responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce, this role will be responsible for the content on a range of brand websites, including copy, imagery, and video. They will work with the brand marketing teams and online team to ensure our websites are fully optimised and feature the best content possible on our range of products.

Additional projects will also be designated to the job-holder as required.

• Write, edit, update and publish content across a range of brands websites, via the CMS

• Manage the product content pipeline, ensuring that all new products are live on the site in line with the trading plan

• Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and our brand image and values are upheld, protected and promoted at all times.

• Source imagery for all products and request new visual content as required

• Optimise content using SEO best practice

• Work with our digital agency to optimise content and landing pages for key digital marketing campaigns

• Develop and maintain a detailed content plan and schedule which aligns with our strategy

• Work closely with the product and marketing teams to develop new content, ensure it is approved for launch and updated as required.

• Conduct regular hygiene audits and quality spot checks around key website content

• Merchandise products across the websites to maximise online revenue

• Support in product and campaign launches

• Manage community content, and produce and upload news stories to the websites

• Support the wider Online Team on an ad-hoc basis to cover absences or workloads in peak periods.

Required skills and experience :

• Solid copywriting, editing and proof reading skills with a strong attention to detail.

• An understanding of key SEO principals and how to monitor and implement them.

• Self-motivated with good organisational skills and time management

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is desirable but not essential

• CMS experience is desirable but not essential

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and commercial requirements

You must also hold a full and clean UK drivers licence.
