Despatch Warehouse Operative Working from the warehouse in Folkestone under the Despatch Supervisor, assisting with the companies despatch operations. Main duties and responsibilities * Keeping the warehouse tidy and hazard free. * Putting new stock away into its correct location. * Unload deliveries using forklift equipment if trained. * Picking and packing customers orders. * Observing Health & Safety Standards and the Company Core Values including 'Team Work across the Business' and 'Always be the best we can'. Personality: Self-driven, able to work on their own initiative and a clear focus on high quality customer service. Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability. Able to get on with others and be a team-player. Personal Situation: Must be mature and domestically secure. Able to commute reliably to base. Able to be flexible by working extended hours on occasions when and if required. Skills: Must have basic Computer knowledge using Word, Internet and email. Basic Maths & English Salary Hours of work for this position are 7:30 - 17:00 with 30 mins for lunch with a morning an afternoon paid tea break. Holiday entitlement is 20 days p.a. plus a Christmas Shutdown and bank holidays (approx. 31 days p.a).
