HRGO are currently recruiting for a Database Management Officer for our client, a well know local charity, based in Canterbury. The Database Officer will be responsible for the management, maintenance and cleansing of the Donorflex database, and for all data requirements across Income Generation & Marketing. You will provide data expertise and data management to support the Income Generation team. Working closely with the Individual Giving Manager you will provide insights into fund-raising activity through income reports, database audits, data and post campaign analysis. The role * Responsible for overseeing the day to day development of the Donorflex database * To set and maintain data management standards and refine existing processes and policies to ensure that the database is being used to its full potential for the benefit of the charity. * Identify, suggest, and implement data strategies based on data analysis * Responsible for designing and maintaining systems and processes to ensure the fund-raising database supports fund raising needs * Create and manage data cleansing processes * Provide accurate and timely monthly income reports for income generation * Regularly audit and when appropriate retrain colleagues ensuring the database is being used effectively by all users, including users based at our Ashford and Margate Hospices. * Develop data management guidelines and protocols including GDPR requirements ensuring all relevant staff adhere to them to achieve the highest standards of supporter care Qualifications and Experience: * Two years database management experience, including data cleansing and duplication * Extensive knowledge of segmentation techniques * In-depth experience of producing KPI reports * Good understanding of GDPR, Gift Aid regulation, the Fund-raising Regulator and FPS * Working knowledge of SQL and writing SQL queries.
