Position: Data Entry / Document Control
Location: Wirral
Hours: Monday-Friday
Salary: £20,000p/a
Job Purpose
Transfer and condense complex data into a simple systems database for accurate documentation and record-keeping. Follow procedure to enter supplier and product information from spreadsheets and other formats in a timely and efficient manner. Provide reports to upper management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Enters data from external sources into database management system within specified timeframe.
- Reviews data to ensure accuracy of data input and prioritises projects in order of importance
- Ensures confidentiality of information by keeping confidential data private and secure
- Administrative duties such as filing forms and reports.
- Troubleshoots supplier and account system changes and upgrades with testing of data input and output and records results.
- Backs up important data files to our secure operating and storage system.
- Follows policies, procedures, and reports changes necessary to improve systems or reduce costs.
- Learns systems and staying updated on upgrades and procedural changes.
- Up dates spreadsheets and populating reports for regular review by upper management and senior leadership
- Ability to retrieve information held on computer systems to generate reports.
- Interacts with clients as well as team members from other departments regarding data input and acquisition.
- Maintain accurate records of computer and software systems updates, upgrades, and other changes.
- Liaises with external sources to secure all accurate information needed for our records.
