HRGO are seeking a Customs Clearance Supervisor for our Client in the Dover area. This will suit a highly experienced Senior Customs Clearance Clerk. Good analytical and organisational skills are essential for this role, you must work in a methodical manner and be confident in leading a team along with a minimum of 5 years experience with Import/Export documentation.

Duties include:

To assess education and training tools available and devise set training modules for beginners to learn Customs Clearance requirements - initially Classification, Rules of Origin, Transit, Valuation, etc. along with the basics of UCC.

Will also develop courses for the introduction of CDS, and eventually duties will be split between a department for new clients and their requirements following Brexit - with ongoing responsibility for refresher courses, further training and updating for all staff.

Hours are 9am - 5.30 pm, Monday - Friday. This is a permanent position, with a competitive salary and is an excellent opportunity to work with a successful company.
