Our client is looking for a Customs Clearance Manager to run a team in Dover, for their established company. This will suit a highly experienced Manager who has drive and tenacity, with the knowledge of Customs Clearance procedures and an extensive understanding of International Customs processes.

Your Responsibilities:

• Maintaining Customs Compliance

• Provide structure for the Department.

• Overseeing all import / export declarations.

• Responsible for driving process development

• Maintaining an ongoing knowledge of Customs related legislation and requirements.

• Ensuring all training and development is provided.

• Dealing and overseeing all customs related issues.

You must be fully conversant with all aspects of Customs procedures and have excellent knowledge and experience in UK and EU Customs relations. A knowledge of Customs Systems and a minimum of 5 years Customs Clearance experience and logistics background would be preferable.
