Our Client who are based on the outskirts of Canterbury are looking for a Customs Clearance Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
Job description / Key attributes:
Knowledge of customs clearance procedures with extensive understanding of Brexit procedures
To manage customers processes, together with ensuring that all clearance processes are complete
Leading the customs clearance processes post Brexit
Ensuring all custom clearance processes post Brexit are fully conversant with all aspects of customs procedures
Keep up to date with all Brexit negotiations whilst managing a small team of staff
You must be aware of the current positions between the UK and the EU and have the ability to assess the impact of Brexit options
Attention to detail with excellent communication skills
Competent decision making to ensure processes are completed in a timely manner
Support and advise all customers whilst ensuring the company is fully compliant with the requirements of HMRC and other relevant bodies
Previous experience within Customs Clearance Management is essential for this role
Salary negotiable depending upon experience
