Our client has been manufacturing shower pump systems for over 20 years. They are established as one of the market leaders in the UK, delivering high quality shower pump ranges representing 4 core values, quality, technology, service and value. Due to their strong brand heritage and success they are seeking a Technical Support Advisor to be based in our manufacturing and operational office in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. This is a full time position, providing excellent customer service and technical support to our customers. Following an in-house training programme you will be required to advise both householders and plumbing installers on all issues relating to servicing, selecting and installing shower pump systems. Essential skills/experience for the Technical Support Advisor role:- * Excellent communication and listening skills with a good telephone manner * Trade Counter Sales Experience preferred * Experience of working in a Customer Service orientated role and have a solid understanding of good customer service, essentially within a trade or technical environment * The ability to problem solve through probing of questions and gathering information * Have an empathetic and caring nature * Strong competency and ability to use various computerised systems * Familiar with Microsoft Office * Minimum of 5 GCSE's at grade "C" and above * Reliable and punctual Desirable skills/experience for the Technical Support Advisor role: * Worked and have recent experience of a technical, trade or engineering support role * UK plumbing experience within the UK plumbing industry would be advantageous * Experience of working in an office environment * Call/Contact Centre/Technical Support Centre If you looking for a long term career within a forward thinking company who are leaders in technology and service within the sector please apply. Salary: Negotiable, dependent upon experience Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 9.00-5.30pm Monday to Thursday, Friday, 9.00-5.00pm with 30 minutes for lunch Position: Permanent Holidays: 20 days, plus 8 statutory Bank Holidays.
