Job Specification POSITION: Customer Care Representative LOCATION: Ellesmere Port HOURS: Monday - Friday SALARY: Temporary ongoing REF: VR/00567 Main Objective: Using company processes and procedures to organise the safe, cost effective movement of products to meet supply or customer requirements and to continually strive to improve customer satisfaction. Job Specification: * Cost effectively organises and progresses Customer deliveries via suppliers or ex-warehouses whilst incorporating compliance guidelines * Assists in the negotiation of service provision * Organises quotations from approved hauliers directly * Manages and processes despatches of orders to customers using approved EMEA managed warehouse locations * Organises the purchase and shipment of orders direct to Customers from Suppliers * Liaises with Planning for product availability, Logistics Controllers for order processing, CCRs for order confirmation and Freight Suppliers for transport bookings * Books final dates for orders and maintains system dates, keeping all orders current and accurate * Collates and prepares all relevant documentation applicable to each movement * Ensures all necessary information is available to enable compliance with Statutory and Company safety requirements * Analyses freight spend and supports EMEA Logistics Manager on cost saving and network efficiency projects * Completes shipments in the relevant ERP system within 48 hours of physical despatch * Completes invoicing in the relevant ERP system within 48 hours of risk transfer * Participates in Supply Chain projects as and when required This is an ongoing temporary role with excellent opportunities.
