Job Specification POSITION: Customer Care Representative LOCATION: Ellesmere Port HOURS: Monday - Friday SALARY: £20,000-£23,000p/a + benefits REF: VR/00563 Our client is a global speciality chemical company, they are currently expanding their Customer Service team and are looking for candidates with experience within a fast pace manufacturing environment who are looking for a new challenge, in return the company offers, training, excellent benefits and working conditions. Main Objective: Using company processes and procedures to organise the safe, cost effective movement of products to meet supply or customer requirements and to continually strive to improve customer satisfaction. Job Specification: * Cost effectively organises and progresses Customer deliveries via suppliers or ex-warehouses whilst incorporating compliance guidelines * Assists in the negotiation of service provision * Organises quotations from approved hauliers directly for Americas, ASPAC and EMEA Sales * Manages and processes despatches of orders to customers using approved EMEA managed warehouse locations * Organises the purchase and shipment of orders direct to Customers from Suppliers (incorporating neutrality where applicable) * Liaises with Planning for product availability, Logistics Controllers for order processing, CCRs for order confirmation and Freight Suppliers for transport bookings * Books final dates for orders and maintains system dates, keeping all orders current and accurate * Manages customer, internal (branches) and external (third parties) expectations and relationships whilst striving to constantly improve customer satisfaction * Collates and prepares all relevant documentation applicable to each movement - (e.g. Certificates of Analysis, Customs and Shipping invoices, Packing Lists, Consignment Notes/Delivery Notes, invoices etc.) * Ensures all necessary information is available to enable compliance with Statutory and Company safety requirements and same for Customs & Excise Legislation * Analyses freight spend and supports EMEA Logistics Manager on cost saving and network efficiency projects (including monitoring haulier KPIs) * Provides monthly measurement of service from system perspective - CCR KPIs and statistics * Completes shipments in the relevant ERP system within 48 hours of physical despatch (using sales backlog report and self-management techniques) * Completes invoicing in the relevant ERP system within 48 hours of risk transfer (using un-printed invoices report and self-management techniques) * Participates in Supply Chain projects as and when required Skills Desired: * Export principles in Europe and ROW including export documentation * Good understanding of transport management and warehousing sales processing Commercial sales experience (including L.C.s and Tenders) * Highly Customer Focused, Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Good supplier contact exposure * Excel, Access, and Microsoft AX - ERP Platforms * English and preferably one of the following languages: French, Spanish, German would be an advantage * Relevant Hazardous Goods Training Ability to manage time well and prioritise work patterns * Education to degree level Please call Nicola at HR GO recruitment for more information on 0151 3474900 or email your CV to nicola@hrgoliverpool.co.uk
