Location: Canterbury City Centre

Position: Customer Advisor / Administrator

Days: Sunday to Thursday 09.00 -17.30

Salary: £19,000 - £21,000 depending on experience

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join a team who are dedicated to providing high levels of service and advice to companies and visitors to Canterbury. You will be out of the office a lot of time, walking around the city , checking that all areas meet the highest standards and reporting issues as required. You will be writing reports and emailing them. You will be a main point of contact for local businesses, building rapour and helping with any issues as they may arise. You Will be hands on with your colleagues in preparation for the many events and festivals that happen annually.

• Ensuring all areas of the city meet the highest standards of cleanliness.
• A lot of walking
• Assisting and advising visitors
• Reporting concerns and issues as they arise
• Writing reports
• Admin and emails using office 365
• Client and business liaison
• Problem solving

What skills and experience you should have?

A successful candidate will need to possess the following skills:

• A proven track record of working in a hospitality/ customer service sector
• Experience of dealing with people face to face
• An ability to build rap-our
• Physically fit and able to walk for long periods throughout the day.
• Experience of using office 365 extensively
• Good eye for details
• An excellent communicator, written spoken and read
• Remain calm under pressure
• Ability to problem solve.

You must already have RTW and be living in the UK.

The days of work are not flexible, you will need to be available Sunday to Thursday, 5 days each week.
