Customer Service Representative
Scientific manufacturing company require a permanent Customer Service Representative to join their business. You will be part of a friendly and supportive organisation to work in the customer service team dealing with sales enquires via telephone and email from their UK and international customers.
The Role
Responding to customer sales enquiries via telephone and email

* Processing and acknowledging incoming purchase orders on our sales/accounts system

* Supporting our team of UK Technical Sales Specialists and International Territory Managers

* Preparing quotations for customers in Microsoft Word using Salesforce CRM
-
* Offering product advise as first line response

* Investigate and evaluate delivery queries or issues
-
* Liaise with customers and distributors to organise shipments

* Provide export paperwork for overseas shipments
-
* Account Management for selected distributors
-
* Review back orders on a daily basis, liaising with the Supply Chain team

* Provide customers with delivery updates or potential delays

* Record customer satisfaction, providing a detailed report on a monthly basis

* Assisting with in-house events and meetings

* Creating and saving digital documentation

* Other general duties to support the smooth running of the company

* Reporting to the Customer Service Manager

Experience & skills:
-
-
Previous administrative experience or Customer Service essential

Confident with all MS office packages e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Well organised with a good attention to detail with the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy
- Capable of working as part of a team and able to use own initiative when working individually
