An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen in the Corporate Directorate to work alongside the Site Leadership Team based at Basildon Hospital.

The role will directly support the work of the Care Group 4 leadership triumvirate who are responsible for a number of clinical support service areas including Radiology, Pathology, Pharmacy, Therapies and Integrated Care.

We are seeking an experienced Personal Assistant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can

comfortably liaise with a wide range of people and agencies, internally and externally, on behalf of the Site Leadership Team whilst maintaining diplomacy, professionalism, confidentiality and discretion at all times.

Key responsibilities will include minute taking, comprehensive diary and inbox management and producing high quality correspondence and documentation. The post holder may also have interaction with patients, relatives and members of the public, sometimes in difficult circumstances.

Undertaking a wide range of tasks including full inbox and diary management, minute taking and maintenance of action trackers and co-ordination of reports, presentations and other correspondence and be expected to have a flexible approach to working within the hours of 08.30 and 17.00 and will be included in a staff rota to ensure appropriate cover for the Corporate Office during these hours.
