I'm currently recruiting for a Cook for a client in Ashford. Due to the nature of the client a DBS would be ideal however HR GO can process a DBS on a candidates behalf. The ideal candidate must have experience working in a busy kitchen environment and be able to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative. The role will involve: * Food preparation of each service including meats, vegetables, fruits, etc. * Cooking to specific menus and plating up to the clients requirements * Working alongside other Cooks and ensuring a smooth handover between shifts * Ensure prompt delivery of each service * Work well with the team and ensure service runs smoothly * Be able to work between the kitchen and tills when required. * Notifying the Head Chef when stock is running low * Take all steps to ensure the kitchen is a safe working environment * To occasionally work outside of hours to cover hospitality functions.
