Complaints Officer (Operations)

Start - ASAP

Rate - £13.00 per hour

**This is a homebased role with occasional visits to the Brentford Office**

Our client who are one of the largest general insurers in the UK are currently looking for an experienced Complaints Officer.

Main responsibilities:

  • effectively handle and resolve complaints within regulatory guidelines and in line with respective authority levels.

  • achieve appropriate outcomes for our customers and our business in line with Allianz values

  • develop and maintain the appropriate level of technical and business knowledge to handle complaints in the most efficient manner and maintain accurate records on the Respond database.

  • provide support to our Insight Team where required in finding the root cause of complaints.

Skills and Experience Required:

* Complaint's background is essential.
* Knowledge of the Financial Ombudsman Service and their processes essential.
*Previous experience in a customer facing role is essential.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential.
*Strong negotiating and decision-making skills are essential.
*IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Word. Full systems training will be provided.
