Complaints Officer (Operations)

Rate - £13.00 per hour
**This is a homebased role with occasional visits to the Brentford Office**
Our client who are one of the largest general insurers in the UK are currently looking for an experienced Complaints Officer.
Main responsibilities:
effectively handle and resolve complaints within regulatory guidelines and in line with respective authority levels.
achieve appropriate outcomes for our customers and our business in line with Allianz values
develop and maintain the appropriate level of technical and business knowledge to handle complaints in the most efficient manner and maintain accurate records on the Respond database.
provide support to our Insight Team where required in finding the root cause of complaints.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Complaint's background is essential.
* Knowledge of the Financial Ombudsman Service and their processes essential.
*Previous experience in a customer facing role is essential.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential.
*Strong negotiating and decision-making skills are essential.
*IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Word. Full systems training will be provided.
