HRGO are currently recruiting on behalf of a large reputable client in Folkestone, Kent.

We are seeking a Community Safety Specialist to work on a 6 months fixed term contract.

The successful candidate will work with partners including Kent police, probation and social services, overseeing community safety projects, new initiatives whilst developing partnerships with community groups and key stakeholders.

You will be responsible for chairing meetings, as well as sing posting partners to relevant third parties for support where required.

The ideal candidate will have experience in these areas, be confident responding to crime, safety concerns and anti-social behaviour. You will be responsible for preparing legal files and giving evidence in court, so confidence and experience in this type of work would be ideal.

Hours of work will generally be 8.30 - 17.00 however due to the nature of the role, you may work on certain projects that require you to work any day of the week, including evenings and weekends between 7am and 11pm - you will average 37 hours per week but flexibility is key.

You will work on a 50/50 split, home based, and out in the community - project dependant.
