HRGO are currently recruiting for a Commis Chef's to work for our client, a popular gastro pub in the City Centre. You will be working in a team under supervision from a Head and Sous Chef and will be responsible for preparing and presenting high quality dishes. This is a great opportunity for some who is looking to kick start a career within catering. The salary for the role is £17,500 per annum, working 4 days a week. What will I be doing? * * Ensure consistent great food production, in line with the high quality standards expected by Hilton * Perform tasks within a timely manner * Provide support to the Kitchen brigade * Prepare and present high quality dishes within company guidelines * Keep all working areas clean and tidy and ensure no cross contamination * Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships * Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues * Comply with venue security, fire regulations and all health and safety and food safety legislation What are we looking for? * Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Apprentice Chef * Positive attitude * Good communication skills * Ability to work under pressure * Proven ability to work with a team and to follow instruction * Completion in a basic food hygiene course * A passion for food and the culinary arts To be considered for the role, please apply with your CV below
