Commercial Waste Sales Officer

Location: Margate, Kent

Hours: Monday to Friday (37 hrs per week)

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Type: Temporary (on-going)

We have this rare opportunity for a Commercial Waste Sales Officer to work in Margate.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate strong negotiation skills and will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders including businesses, third sector organisations, schools, colleges and other organisations. They will be expected to provide customers and potential customers with sound, professional advice on the best service arrangements for their particular needs, maximising recycling activities where possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• sales, marketing & account management

• Customer base growth

• Profit & Loss sheets

• Marketing planning

• Visiting local businesses and residents to do a collection assessment

• Work with operational support team and workforce supervisors
