Colourer/Plater required to ensure products coloured and plated by our client meet both customers and company's requirements, whilst adhering to all applicable Quality and H&S legislation Key Responsibilities: * Following in-house training demonstrate that you can complete all standard colouring and plating processes * Work to specific requirements and high-quality standards. * Maintain plating tanks to a high standard with the required solutions and chemicals whilst adhering to COSHH and EHS regulations * Understand the requirement to adhere to standard times and report on any deviances. * Ensure work areas comply with required levels of 'Housekeeping'. * Ensure all equipment is maintained to schedules. * Adhere to Company H&S policy, wearing appropriate PPE and using the safety equipment provided. * Quality control, including supporting colleagues in avoiding/correcting mistakes. * Liaise with colleagues to create and implement procedures to ensure expected growth. * Carry out any other duty which may be required in line with operational requirements * Work in a collaborative fashion supporting teams to achieve the Company's objectives. Other duties/responsibilities Assist with general workshop duties, and development of trainee staff as required Communicate any missed deadlines to Team Leader Always consider and work to the relevant EHS regulations/ISO standards and framework Highlight potential risks and opportunities to Team Leaders Effectively communicate, both internally and to prospects, suppliers, clients, etc Pro-actively develop own skills, knowledge and experience, both in this industry and best practice within it and contribute to the development of colleagues wherever possible We endeavour to respond to all applications; however, due to the large volume this isn't always possible.
