Compensation: £22,630 + Benefits
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 9 - 5pm & Friday 8am - 2pm NO WEEKENDS

Are you an experienced Coach Builder looking for a new and exciting challenge?

Our client who are one of the largest providers of support services to the emergency services sector manage vehicles and equipment on behalf of organisations such as London Fire Brigade, Metropolitan Police Service, and the Highways Agency. As a Coach Builder, you'll play a vital role in keeping their vehicles on the road and in great working order. We are looking for a talented and efficient individual coach building and conversion of new and used vehicles within a very successful company who rewards hard work and dedication and offers you the opportunity to further your skills.

What will you be doing?
As a Coach builder your duties include but are not limited to the stripping and fitting of all types of commercial vehicles from small vans to HGV.

Your other duties will include:
* Construction of bespoke vehicle conversions
* Fault finding and rectification
* Removal and fitting of seats, panels, roof lining, door cards, interior trim, carpets, switch gear, light clusters and bumpers
* Upgrading glass fitment, removal and refitting of interior trims
* General modifications to original vehicle build
* Working to vehicle build specifications
* Liaising with other shop floor staff and production management teams

The experience you'll bring
* Proven demonstrable experience carrying out the above activities/duties
* Must have (NVQ level 2), Coach Building / Commercial vehicle conversions or proven equivalent experience
* Read and interpret engineering plans and diagrams.
* Ability to demonstrate high level of engineering industrial standards
* You must have or have ability to obtain SC security clearance
