CNC Turners - interesting opportunity in this well organised and successful precision engineering company. You will have some online programming ability and generally work as a programmer/ setter/ operator. The role is working with a range of CNC Lathes machining acrylics and engineering plastics to create complex and intricate parts predominantly for the medical industry. You should have a good understanding of jigs, fixtures and tooling and be very confident reading and understanding engineering drawings.

The opportunity requires you to program online a range of different fanuc (and similar) controlled lathes from drawings.

The role will involve handing the machines over to operators once set up. For this top position it is likely that you will have had some type of formal training and be confident overseeing the work of machine operators.
