CNC Turners - strong setter operators required (good programming skills an advantage). The role is working with a range of CNC Lathes machining acrylics and engineering plastics to create complex and intricate parts predominantly for the medical industry. You should have a good understanding of jigs, fixtures and tooling and be very confident reading and understanding engineering drawings.

Ideally you will confident programming from drawings on Haas/fanuc controlled CNC lathes,although strong setter operators with the ability to program offsets are considered.

If you have good programming ability the role will likely involve handing the machines over to operators once set up. for this top position it is likely that you will have had some type of formal training and be confident overseeing the work of machine operators.
