CNC Turner

Location: Harlow - Hatfield Heath area - Own transport required due to location

Salary Guide: £28,000 - £33,000 pa + Overtime rate

CNC Turner, Programmer, Setter and Operator, ideally with experience of using Mazatrol controls is required by specialised precision engineering plastic machining company who supply products and services to a range of industry sectors including oil and gas, food processing and pharmaceuticals.

Our Client is a rapidly growing company, regularly investing in new machines and technologies.

The CNC Turner will be part of a small team, producing parts with a range of complexity. This includes PTFE, PEEK, Nylon and many more.

Any programming experience is beneficial, this role would suit candidates that are looking to make the next step from Setting and Operating and learn programming.

Duties will include:

• Setting, Programming and Operating CNC Lathes.

• Checking produced parts and ensuring the conform to customer requirements.

• Ensure that the correct tooling is available to complete scheduled orders and plan proactively for next job.

• Ensuring equipment is maintained and checked in line with maintenance schedules.

• Checking availability of stock material against upcoming manufacturing orders.

• Ensure Equipment to be safe and fit for use, particularly guarding.

• Ensure that the working environment is clean and free from rubbish and debris.

• Future opportunities for training and development with programs such as Fusion 360 and inspection equipment operation such as CMM programming.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8.0.0am - 5.00pm - 40 hour week

Salary Guide: £25,000 - £30,000 pa + Overtime rate
