CNC Turner - Setter, Operator Up to £35,000 (Incl. shift premium) + Overtime Rates NIGHT SHIFT 4 NIGHTS, 39-hours - MONDAY TO THURSDAY Good Hours Available - Permanent, Immediate Start Available Clacton-on-Sea area With exceptional earning potential, overtime regularly available and excellent overtimes rates, this expanding, successful, established specialist precision engineering company; who specialise in the manufacturing of machined components for the Automotive, Defence and Marine industries; using the very latest in machining technology are looking to recruit a CNC Turner, for their night shift. CNC Turner Key Tasks: * Set, edit and run CNC Lathes, following the company's quality and work procedures. * Be able to inspect own work. * Update tooling sheets and record cycle times. * Ensure compliance with health and safety. * Maintain a clean and safe working environment. * Assist other setter operators to become more efficient. Skills and Attributes Required: * Knowledge of various machines and controls. (ideally Mazak) * Understand capabilities of tools and materials. * Team Player. * Work to Company instructions and drawings. * Awareness of Health and Safety procedures. * Any Sliding Head experience - beneficial. Qualifications or knowledge Required: * A suitable engineering apprenticeship would be advantageous. * Any online editing would be beneficial. * Own transport recommended, due to location.
