CNC Operators

Due to continued demand for our clients first-class precision machining services. My client is creating a 4 on 4 off shift to enable 24 hr production of volume parts at their modern facility in Bridgwater.

The hours for this position are: 6am-6pm of days , 4 days off, 6pm-6am of nights, 4 days off and repeat.

This includes some weekend work and bank holidays.

This shift equates to working 182.5 days (1/2 the year) plus 20 days holiday, on top of that they are paying a 20% shift allowance. £10/hr + 20% = £26280.00 p/a

We are recruiting four teams of four people per shift and you will be required to operate CNC Lathes and use various equipment to produce high quality components for the microchip manufacturers.

On successful employment you will be fully trained on the process requirements, the machinery operations and how to measure and record dimensions as required.

If you are familiar with lathe operation and Fanuc controls, be able to adjust offsets and use measuring equipment such as micrometers and vernier callipers to maintain accuracy and quality of parts being produced - there would be negotiable rates of pay depending on experience.
