CNC Miller (Machinist) Permanent - Immediate Start Royston - On the Cambridgeshire / Hertfordshire / Essex border Good hours available CNC Miller (Machinist) is required for interesting role producing 1 off, 2 offs up to 50 offs, with lots of 1 offs by successful precision sub-contracting engineering company based near Royston, on the Herts / Cambs / Essex border. CNC Miller duties includes: Programming, setting and operating various CNC Mills up to 4 Axis, using Siemens Controls; to produce high quality components typically used in various industries (Pharmaceutical, Medical etc). This is a very interesting role producing 1 off, 2 offs up to 50 offs, with lots of 1 offs. The ideal candidate would have significant experience of: * Ideally able to write programmes. * Set and operate 3 & 4 axis CNC Mills. * To produce one off and multiple parts to drawings. * CAD/CAM ideal - Training is available. * Ability to read & understand engineering drawings. * Inspecting own work. Skills / Qualification Requirements: * To ideally be a time served mechanical engineer trained in machine shop technology and working practices. * City and Guilds or equivalent. Rate Guide: £12.00 p/hr - £16.00 p/hr, Negotiable. Working Days: Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 5.00pm, 40 hours per week with good hours available.
