We are working in partnership with an engineering company that are looking to recruit and additrional member to there CNC Machining team on a temp to perm basis.

Location: DY6 7ND Birmingham

Hourly rate: £10.60 to £12.80 per hour Depending on ability and skill set.

Established in 1920 and subsequently became one of the pioneers of stainless steel manufacturing. Today we are a leading British-based company, located in the Midlands on the Pensnett Trading Estate Kingswinford, exporting globally. We specialize in the manufacture of flanges, tube sheets and pipe fittings.

The role:

Due to growth we are looking to add to our manufacturing team to facilitate a shift pattern which has been designed to maximise both productivity and work/life balance.

Ideally the candidate needs CNC experience, and preferably experience working with stainless steel. If the candidate has worked in the manufacture of flanges then all the better. Since we are working with a small team of people, the candidate should be a self starter and happy to muck in as the role will involve doing whatever is required and as dictated by the work available, such as helping out on the automatic bandsaws for example.

Programming capability is not specifically required for this role, although we are happy for more experienced to apply. FLT license would be an advantage but not necessary as training will be provided.

Working hours:

Rotating shifts 2 weeks on Mornings 2 weeks on Afternoons

Mornings

06:00 - 14:30 Monday - Thursday

06:00 - 13:00 Friday

Afternoons

11:00 - 21:15 Monday - Thursday (Friday off)
