Chief Inspectors opportunity at a successful and expanding aerospace precision engineering company. You will be overseeing and improving the daily inspection processes, managing a team of four inspectors to ensure CMM inspection is run efficiently and smoothly. The main duties of the Chief Inspector include, but aren't limited to: * Assigning resources and staff to tasks, prioritising when needed. * Inspection of both outgoing and incoming materials and products. * Identifying the root of problems within the department and implementing corrective measures. * Training existing and new employees, whilst tracking their progress. * Quality sign off procedures. You must have had experience within a similar role, with an excellent knowledge of CMM inspection and F.A.I.R.S, as well as quality standards. PC-DMIS experience would be a distinct advantage. The ability to communicate well with superiors and subordinates, coupled with customer facing skills regarding technical is required.
