HR GO Recruitment are looking for a Chef - night shift for our client in Witney, Oxford. This role is excellent for a person happy to work on their own once the training will be completed. The role is out of hours with no service in the restaurant. Working days: Monday - Friday Working hours: 18:00 - 02:30 Pay: £18/hour As a Chef your duties will include: * Enjoys the fast pace of the kitchen and can consistently produce top quality dishes under pressure. * A born leader who relishes taking responsibility for the running of the kitchen, but also knows when and how to delegate. * Overall responsibility for daily operations in the kitchen * Liaising with purchasing companies for food orders * Maintaining or raising the profit margins on food * Producing menus and new dishes * Managing, training and recruiting a brigade of chefs * Candidates will require: * Excellent cooking skills * An understanding of produce and ingredients * The ability to write menus that are both creative and profitable * Supervisory and management skills * Stock taking skills * Level 3 Health and Safety and Food Hygiene certificates * Strong understanding of HACCP Food Hygiene Certificate is a must This is a temporary full time role.
