Chef De Partie Hythe, Kent 45 hrs p/w Ref: HKFO/SC12/238685 A very exciting opportunity has become available for a Chef De Partie working for a unique, award winning, Client of ours in the Hythe area, Kent, working within a 4* Restaurant. Due to where they are based it would be ideal if you are a car owner. The successful candidate will: * Have previous experience in a Demi or Chef De Partie role. * Fully understand how the role contributes to the success of the restaurant. * Maintain a good level of understanding of the restaurant and hospitality industry. * Lead by example. * Communicate clearly, professionally and concisely. * Build effective and constructive relationships. * Work collaboratively with others in pursuit of team goals. Some of the Key Duties are: * Manage a section within the kitchen with the assistance of the Commis Chef. * Ensure the dishes are prepared and cooked according to the specific restaurant standards. * Maintain a detailed knowledge of the full menu and be able to explain dish descriptions. * Ensure compliance with legal requirements and Food Hygiene.
