Catering Supervisor

Location: Herts & Essex Hospital - Bishops Stortford - Free on-site parking

Salary: to £23,000 pa

Monday to Friday: 07.00 - 3.00pm

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Catering Supervisor to provide a high-quality catering service to patients, staff, and visitors at the Essex & Herts hospital in Bishop's Stortford.

These duties may be carried out, both in patient and non-patient environments. To provide direction, guidance, and support to ensure the necessary duties are carried out to maintain a clean and hygienic environment within the hospital and associated areas. To carry out the audits required for specific areas.

The Catering Supervisor will be preparing breakfast, processing patients food orders and delivering these to the wards and to patients.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in a previous catering supervisory role
• Experience in Nutritional and allergen processes with a good understanding of all current laws and legislations
• Experience in Setting menu's both for Restaurant and Patient Services
• Experience managing staff
• Ordering and managing stock and storage
• A general understanding of Health and Safety legislator
• Strong communication skills - essential for client liaison
• Good attention to detail and high standards of work
• Good IT literacy
• Have Food Hygiene Level 3, HACCP

Salary: £23,000 pa

Hours: Monday to Friday 7.00am to 3.00pm, 40 hours per week.
