HRGO are recruiting on behalf of a College based in Ellesmere Port, who are looking for a Full Time Caretaker.

Hours: Flexible

Pay: £9.81p/h

BASIC JOB PURPOSE

• Maintenance of the College building, including minor repairs and improvements and general maintenance tasks to ensure that the College and site are maintained to the expected high standards.
• Operation and maintenance of appropriate site security systems, including opening and closing the building at the beginning and end of the school day.
• Carry out porterage duties (including the moving of heavy furniture)
• Undertake litter-picking and cleaning of designated areas and assist with major cleaning during school closure periods.
• Assist with the monitoring and operation of the building's systems (e.g. building management and building access control) and advise management of any faults in order to ensure the most economical use of fuel and water.
• Assist in monitoring all works related to grounds maintenance.
