We're recruiting for a successful Civil Engineering Company, who supply teams to install fibre cable and subduct across the Openreach network. We need Engineers committed to installing underground cable in a safe and defect free manner. Engineers are required to work safely in and around Live traffic and pedestrians being well mannered in all situations especially when dealing with the public. Main Tasks * Always Adhere to the New Road & Streetworks Act 1991 & Health & Safety at work act 1974, Quality and Environmental policies Internally & Externally. * Provide Updates between Internal Admin Team, Management & Clients. * Enter Openreach underground chambers in correct and safe manner. * Carry out Gas tests with calibrated gas detector as shown on A8 accreditation. * Rod rope and test duct * Pull through cable/subduct * Restrain & label as shown * Blow through COF cable using dry air blowing machine. * Always Clear site and leave as was found adhering to New Road & Streetworks Act 1991 & Health & Safety at work act 1974 * Complete paperwork/ Collate pictures in a correct manner as per company policies and procedures including completing risk assessment. * Always represent the company in a professional manner * Work as part of a team to deliver client commitments * Be flexible in your approach to working hours Covering locations in Kent, Surrey, Essex, West Sussex.
