Job Title: Buyer Location: Huntingdon Monday - Friday 37.5hrs Salary 17-19K Depending on experience Job Type: Permanent Responsible for the delivery of operational procurement alongside the E-Procurement system. On a day to day basis you will lead and undertake effective, best value sourcing, as well as assisting in delivering and maintaining Service Level Agreements and key performance indicators. Additionally you will be responsible to provide sourcing and procurement advice including all aspects of EU Procurement law to Trust stakeholders, whilst upholding high levels of customer service at all times. Key Responsibilities: * Provide operational procurement support to Serco ASP customers * Delivery of allocated individual targets for savings, sourcing requests, contracted spend, savings validation * Develop category expertise * Purchase Order processing using E-Procurement * To meet customer requirements by effectively Sourcing Products and Services * Support Contract compliance in allocated categories * On-going pro-active supplier and market management * Appropriate engagement with customers - ensure timely responses to customer enquiries and provide specialist advice as required * Ensure category sourcing support EU strategies * Work effectively with various customers and demonstrate excellent customer service * Undertake bench-marking to prove Best Market Pricing * Skills & Experience: * Good level of standard education GCSE * Sourcing and Procurement experience * Accomplished user of E-procurement, Microsoft Word and Excel * Customer Service Skills To apply for this role through HRGO Recruitment please click on the "apply button" HRGO Recruitment offers permanent and temporary jobs across the UK - visit hrgo.co.uk to get in touch with your local branch for more opportunities
