You will be responsible for:
Identifying business opportunities with current and new organisations to help build the companys client portfolio
Forge strong working relationships with Architects, Consultants and business sector teams
Attend regional networking events to help raise the awareness of the company and network with potential clients.
Alongside the Estimating Team to coordinate and produce high quality pre qualification and tender submittal documents
Creating and editing presentations, promotional and marketing material;
Contribute to the team at key stages of individual tender projects, information from internal departments in order to compile and ensure a high quality bespoke solution is offered to the client;
Adaptable to deal with changing project requirements;
Excellent client facing skills;
A naturally inquisitive nature to challenge ideas and provide innovative solutions;
To qualify for this exciting opportunity, the company are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager that has a proven ability and experience of working with a main contractor within the construction industry.
Sound commercial awareness is also a must and the ability to think in a strategic manner. Experience of successfully operating within the construction sector would be an obvious advantage.
