Business Development Manager - Municipal Services - Waste Management. Gloucestershire

I am currently working on a mandate for an experience Business Development Manager covering Waste Manager and Local Authority. Based in Gloucestershire.

Ideally looking for extensive knowledge and experience of managing local authority waste management from street cleansing, refuse collection, ground maintenance operation and more.

This role will be operational focused role on Municipal Services.

• Hands on within the business, tender responses - accurate, compliant and presented in a clear format.

• Analyses - collection, collations and recording of all statistical data for tender compilation i.e., productivity ratings, margins,

• Driven and proven track record in operational project management

• Keeping abreast of current market conditions and competitor activity

• Development of all opportunities related to growth, both existing and new clients

• Strong problem solver

• Effectively leading or supporting strategic studies, investigating marketplaces and industry trends.

• Making and developing key contacts with business and representing the organisation.

• Ability to "listen" and understand client needs

• Enthusiastic and driven

• Excellent staff, customer and stakeholder relationship management skills

• Negotiating and concluding transaction and organic projects with clients and partners

Desirable:

• Demonstrate processional development (e.g. Chartered status of CIWM or Environmental management)

• Project Management - Prince 2 or similar
