Aviation Purchasing and Supply Chain Coordinator
Opportunity for an experienced supply chain professional to provide tactical and strategic support with this successful global aviation company. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will take ownership of the procurement and supply chain coordination for aviation parts and consumables for the company and its outstations. Fulfilling the full cycle of supply chain activities in a timely and cost-effective manner, you will monitor and set stock levels, plan and progress orders.
Additional activities include:
Liaising with customers and suppliers
Timely undertaking of procurement transactions
Compile and produce reports, audit, forecast and implement strategic plans to ensure the profitable and successful function of the supply chain.
Managing approved suppliers process
Monitoring of order progress and ensuring records are kept up to date
Identifying initiatives to maximise profit, reduce waste and optimise inventory efficiencies.
Aviation industry experience is essential, as is experience of stock control and implementation of best practice. You will have a demonstrable ability to perform tactical procurement activities.
