Automation Engineer

Salary $90-100k p.a.

They now require a mid to senior level Automation Test Engineer within their Digital Group. This role is responsible for:

• executing and reporting on tests, using appropriate testing tools and techniques

• preparing test plans and scripts

• functional test activities aligned to the testing quality framework

You will work with smart, driven professionals across several disciplines in an agile team. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects in a range of fields, learning and applying new techniques, assisting software developers in your project team while being supported by the broader software test team. Producing functional, reliable, safe software is critical to both their reputation with clients and the regulatory standards they need to meet, so they will value your work highly.

Key responsibilities:

• Writing in-depth, comprehensive test scenarios

• Writing and maintaining automated tests and ensuring continuous improvements of test automation practice

• Collaboration with Product Management and Software Development to fully refine test cases and test scenarios

• Producing test protocols, incorporating available test cases, to be executed for each release cycle

To be successful you will need:

• Minimum of 3+ years industry experience with test automation using C# or equivalent

• Knowledge of Test Automation; C#; Mobile; Web, Cloud and testing of API's

• Knowledge of Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) tools

• Experience with Agile methodologies and ways of working

• Familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD)

• Degree in Software Engineer / Computer Science or equivalent desirable
