Assistant Manager

Location: Ramsgate, Kent

Pay: £21.5K

Type: Permanent

Hours: 30 - 37.5 Hours, working across 4/ 5 days per week (Monday - Sunday)

HR GO (Ramsgate) are excited to be working with a well respected and well-established client that are opening a new store in Ramsgate.

The Assistant Manager will Support the store manager in making sound commercial decisions, as well as the driving force behind the exceptional customer's shopping experience and sales.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the customers is at the forefront of all decision making

• Inspire, coach and drive their team

• Confidently assist the manager in managing the store

• Analyse patterns in performance

• Recognise and embrace opportunities for change

• Work hands-on with energy, pace and enthusiasm

• Show passion for what they do and aspiration for their own development

• Work collaboratively with the Store Manager, and Support Centre teams to build productive relationships

Requirements:

• Retail management experience at a similar level
• Excellent people skills with a proven track record of leading, developing and motivating a team
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A passion for selling and customer interaction
• A record of commercial success and awareness
• Recognition of the importance of strong visual merchandising
