Assembly Operative
Based in Wellington, Somerset
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual to join our Bio-Processor Production Team, manufacturing my clients food waste processing machines.
You will be working in a small team so must be self-motivated with a can-do attitude. You will be responsible for mechanical and electrical assembly of the Bio-Processors.
Previous experience in mechanical assembly, mechanical repairs or similar is desired, however not essential. Full induction and internal training will be given.
Job Role
Assembling bespoke machinery that has been designed and fabricated in house Cutting materials to size with the use of technical drawings and jogs
Gluing plastic component's together to create profiles
Fitting control panels with wiring looms with the use of wiring diagrams Fitting other electric components
Fitting electric motors
Installation of large mechanical items i.e. shafts and paddles Other mechanical installations
Small elements of TIG welding Factory Testing
Utilising and completing Build Checklists and Sub-Assemblies
Working closely with our design team to develop and improve our machines Stock management of parts
On-site, customer facing, new machine installations (accompanied)

The innovations team design and manufacture our pioneering Bio-Processor's in-house. Good customer support is key, with all our sales backed up by a strong service department, essential to maintain trusted connections throughout their customers, suppliers and sub-contractors.
As the demand for refurbishment grows, they are taking on more engineers and have branched operations out into a second building, to support existing customers and for used machine sales.
Package and benefits
£20,800 pa (£10 p/h), overtime opportunities

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Mon-Thursday 8:00AM - 5:00OPM, Friday 8:00AM - 2:00PM 22 Days annual leave + Christmas closure
