Job Role: Assembly Operative

Job Type: Full Time, temporary position

Salary: £9.50 per hour

Hours of work: 8:15 to 5:00pm, Monday to Thursday, 8:15 to 3pm on Friday's

Location: Bishop's Stortford

Start Date: Immediately

We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative, based in the Bishop's Stortford area. You will be working for a high-profile Lighting company and you will be working as part of the production/assembly team making sure performances are hit and safety processes are followed.

Duties include:  

• Assembly Bench Team Operative, Working within an open plan warehouse
• General manufacturing/production duties
• Loading bags of pellets of raw plastic pallets
• On and off-loading components
• Operating press moulding machines
• Quality inspection of parts
• Keeping work station clean and tidy
• Complying with health and safety regulations always
• Wiring vehicle lamps/soldering, measuring/cutting to drawings etc.
• Using hand held Scanners to pick/ log parts for assignment
• Stock control of Parts in/out
• As an Assembly Bench Team Operative, you will be responsible for general assembly and simple wiring functions
• Supervised on terminal machines
