HOURS: Monday - Friday 37.5

SALARY: £20,000-£23,000p/a DOE

I am currently recruiting an artworker to working as part of the team within a well-established company that specialise in the print and packaging sector.

Job Specification

• You will be responsible for delivering print ready artwork across a wide variety of formats, to the highest standard.
• You Must have a good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with particular strength in Illustrator, Pre-press/Repro
• Ability to create technical cutter guides for packaging products.
• Proven experience of artwork creation and manipulation to a high standard.
• Ability to understand and execute instructions
• Adhere to internal workflows
• Excellent, proven interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work on multiple projects ensuring work is completed within time.
• Ensure artwork is achievable within print production constraints
• Must have a flexible approach and willingness to learn
• Must have excellent attention to detail and take great pride in the quality of your work
• Ability to assist and support colleagues within the team to deliver the scope of work
• Must be highly organised with a structured and methodical approach to artwork
• Proactive, forward thinking and embracing of change and development

Desirable Experience:

• Experience of Agfa Appogee or similar, Plate making
• CAD/CAM
• Checking of proofs
• Experience of colour management software like or similar to GMG/Esko?
• Worked in carton manufacture
• Digital print, variable data
• PS9000/GMP
