Area Operations Controller

Area Operations Controller Key Responsibilities: * Continually review SIGnet to ensure compliance and accuracy. Must also ensure that Service Levels and Operational Strategy are being met. * Populating rosters for all employees on MoJ contract * Forward and emergency scheduling * Deployment of Security Officers to cover short term unplanned absence and additional staffing requirements * Producing management information on a daily/weekly/monthly basis covering; dropped shifts, Security Officer unplanned absence, Security Officer absence records, Service Representative deployment, additional adhoc work and other reports as required. * Managing the approval process for security officer annual leave * Planning the use of all MoJ and contingency staff to ensure the operational and financial objectives are met * Administration of all other types of absence * Resolution of Security Officer pay queries * Continually demonstrating best practice * Provision of data and performance statistics to assist all parts of the business * Liaise with the Operational Team and HR to highlight performance issues * Liaising with the Resourcing/Screening Team to ensure security manning is at optimum levels * Completion of pre payroll checks in Signet to ensure accuracy and correct pay for employees Key Attributes: * Working Collaboratively * Focusing on the Customer * Acting with Professionalism & Integrity * Understanding the Organisational Environment * Dealing with Changing Circumstances Essential: * Knowledge of the security industry * Able to work on own initiative with minimal intervention * Proven ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise accordingly * Ability to problem solve logically Desirable: * Knowledge of company systems and procedures * Knowledge and understanding on the WTR * Previous experience using a scheduling / invoicing system * Good numerical and analytical skills Shift Times: Mon to Fri Rotating Shifts 06.00 - 14.00 10.00 - 18.00 8 hours a day, 1 hour unpaid Lunch. £10 an hour pay rate No Parking on site, but there is street parking about a ten minute walk away. Will need Basic DBS (If they have one can be within a year) and 5 year work reference.
