Job Title: Full Time Administrator
Location: Uckfield (Office Based)
Salary: £19,000 rising to £20,000 (subject to PAYE and Pension)
Hours of work: Contractually 9:00 am to 5:30 pm (inclusive of 1 hour lunch break)
Mondays to Fridays Note: office closes at 5:00 pm

Position: Handler, Working within the Court Agency Department
Excellent Administrator skills will be required as will the ability to work well in a small team and on your own initiative. The ability to work well under pressure.
Job Description
All our clients are within the legal profession, you will need to possess a good friendly and professional telephone manner as you are their point of contact and always representing Ashley Taylors Legal.
Upon receiving instructions, you will be responsible for making appointments and entering these in the diary system.
You will be responsible for a group of 20-30 Advocates allocated to you, from allocation of Client instruction and Court hearing until the matter has been heard and completed.
Ensuring the Advocate can attend the hearing and updating the diary system.
On receipt of papers, uploading onto our web-based system and updating the diary.
On completion of a case, invoicing the relevant client
General electronic filing
A good understanding of Microsoft office 365, word doc and excel
Your Role- Key responsibilities
Attending clients and other professional bodies on the telephone
Liaising with Advocates (a person who attends county courts)
Typing to include Briefs, Reports & Invoices
Inputting/updating Diary
Booking Court Hearings
Ensuring the Advocates assigned to you have the right Court papers in time for hearings
Reporting to clients with Advocates notes and report of the hearing
General office duties, Post.
Holidays: 20 days plus bank holidays Plus all Bank Holidays (Pro-rata) Holiday off after 12 Month
