If that's the case this role could be for you! I am currently looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to start ASAP with a well established client in the Whitstable area.

Working hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00-16:30

Salary: Negotiable- Depending on Experience

Immediate start, long term temporary assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
• Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
• Maintaining historical records
• Paying employees by verifying expense reports and preparing pay checks
• Scheduling payments of checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance
• Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
• Continuing to improve the payment process

Personal Attributes:

• Prior experience within accounts payable environment- essential
• Intermediate IT knowledge, including Excel
• Relationship builder (colleagues, candidates, clients)
• Strong communication / interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to organise and prioritise - effective time management
• Proactive and Flexible
• Ability to work on own initiative and within a team
• Planner & organiser
