HR GO are looking to recruit an Account Controller for their prestigious client based in the Washington area. The role will be office based , working between the hours of 9.00am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will contribute to their success through the effective management of stock whilst developing strong supplier relationships. You will be responsible for the Monitoring and reordering of all stock on existing product lines, ensuring maximize the level of SKUs in stock, whilst keeping overall stock levels within the targets set.

Key responsibilities are:

• Ensure incoming product is receipted and managed appropriately according to company procedure

• Reconcile deliveries against purchase orders

• Reconcile purchases against supplier invoices and authorise for payment

• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers whilst ensuring that we obtain the best possible pricing, terms and supplier funded offers.

• Analysing every aspect of sales information & bestsellers. Identify issues with existing stock levels and make recommendations.

• Maintaining and developing our price structure ensuring the correct margins are achieved and we are correctly and competitively priced within the market.

• Liaise with suppliers regarding product returns, reconciling returns against credit notes.

• Liaise with the warehouse to ensure the delivery procedures are followed for goods in stock.

• Back order customer management and administration.

THE CANDIDATE

The successful candidate should have:

• Education to include min GCSE pass (A-C) in maths and English.

• Excellent IT skills, specifically Microsoft Excel and Word

• Well-developed organisational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively.

• Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management.

• Experience in analysing and manipulating numerical data.

• A logical problem solver and able to investigate and implement results from the available data.

This role will pay between £22,000 and £25,000 and could be permanent for the right candidate.
