ROLE: IBA Accounts Assistant
LOCATION: Wells, Somerset
Do you have experience working in an accounting function?
Are you looking to pursue a career within accounting?
Due to growth of the business, we are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant in Wells to join one of the UK's leading and most respected insurance brokers. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Duties include:
* Reconciliation and settlement of insurer statements on a monthly basis
* Daily bank reconciliations including posting client receipts
* Processing client refunds
* Liaising with insurance companies regarding outstanding queries
* Responding to/helping other members of the company with account queries
* Administrative tasks
Required skills:
* Desire to pursue a career within accounting
* Good Excel and IT skills
* An aptitude for numbers and problem solving
* Excellent organisational skills
Beneficial:
* Recently or part qualified at AAT level
* Started or enrolled to start an accountancy qualification
This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday 09.00-17.30.
