Accountant/Financial Controller

Location - near Bishops Stortford

Salary - £50k pa.

We are currently assisting our client based on the outskirts of Bishops Stortford, recruit for an Accountant/Finance Manager to join their successful organisation.

This is a fantastic position working with a well-established charitable organisation who provide a worthy service and support to people in need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire accounts function of the business.

• Oversee all company accounts, creating monthly and annual reports.

• To provide management accounts, budgetary reports and cashflow forecasts which meet the needs of the CEO, Board of Trustees and Auditors.

• Manage the day-to-day accounting activities, including banking, payroll and budget.

• To file accounts, annual returns and amendments to the Articles of Association with Companies House, when required.

• To ensure that the varied methods of the charity　fund-raising are carried out in a cost-effective manner, which meets all legal obligations and minimises taxation implications.

The successful candidate will understand the demands of an Accountant within a charity and will have proven experience within a similar role.
