My client is a global events business and organise extraordinary events and are looking for a bright Accounts Payable Assistant. (Hybrid working)

You will have 1-2 years Accounts Payable experience already and ideally have worked with global clients. This is an opportunity to be part of a growing global events business, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable multitasking along with great attention to detail and love client care. You will be part of the accounts payable process team so you must be able to process a large volume of work and your responsibility's will be the following:

Key Responsibilities
Ensure company policy/procedures for authorising invoices are adhered to.

Processing multicurrency invoices and expenses

Ensure invoices are process with correct VAT inputs

Supplier statement reconciliations

Assist with preparation of supplier payments by BACS/CHAPS

Post bank transactions

Resolve supplier queries

Manage shared accounts payable inbox

Process Credit Card expenses

Set up new vendors

Maintenance of Purchase Orders, Month end assistance, Vendor database maintenance
