Salary range

£8.21-£16.42 per hour paid weekly in arrears every Friday:

  • £8.21 p/h 40 hours
  • £12.32 p/h time and half after 40 hours
  • £16.42 p/h double time

Hours

  • 6am-6pm - 6pm-6am, 4 on 4 off rota
  • 1 hour for lunch
  • Average 48 hours per week

Job summary

To work as part of the Kingspan, Holywell division Production Team. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, responsible for carrying out operational duties associated with the manufacture, packaging and dispatch of products to a high quality standard. Support a safe, productive and quality conscious environment built on continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform all duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures for specific product(s) to a high quality standard
  • Work under the guidance of the Shift Supervisor to meet production targets and KPI’s
  • Operate machinery/equipment/tools where necessary in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures to ensure product quality and high standards are maintained
  • Monitor machine/equipment performance where necessary and escalate any product quality issues to Shift Supervisor
  • Cleaning of machines/equipment and to maintain a good standard of general housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe work environment
  • Maintain high levels of Health & Safety standards
  • Perform any reasonable tasks as instructed by the Senior Operative/Production Supervisor

Person specification

  • Good communication skills, verbal and written
  • PC literate
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Proactive approach to meeting demanding production deadlines
  • Good attention to detail with product quality and an understanding to meeting customer needs and requirements (OTIFs)
  • Proactive approach to housekeeping, 5s methodology and waste minimisation
  • Proactive approach to Health & Safety in the workplace
  • Previous experience of working in a factory/manufacturing process environment
  • Experience of working shifts
